 All Teams MUST be ready to play on Thursday, July 27^th at 8:00 AM.  Start time will depend on number of entries received.  Entry into this tournament constitutes acknowledgement and agreement to this condition. 

 Please DO NOT contact the Tournament Director to request an exemption from Thursday morning, as ALL teams will be expected to be ready to play on Thursday at 8:00 AM.

Both parks are championship caliber parks with all fields lighted.  Concession stands are available at both parks. 

PARK POLICIES: 

Players and spectators are expected to follow park rules at all times.  We will enforce these rules at all times.  NO alcohol, NO pets, NO coolers, NO bicycles, NO skateboards, NO roller blades or outside food shall be brought into the complex.

Entry & Deadline:   

Entry fee, entry form, copy of ONLINE roster, and copy of insurance MUST be received by your respective State Director or Zone Office NO LATER then Monday, July 17^th, 2006.  Late entries will NOT be accepted.

Entry Fee is $360 with payment made by Cashiers check or Money Order ONLY.  Personal checks WILL NOT be accepted.  Entry fees MUST go through your State Director----NO EXCEPTIONS!! 

Under NO circumstances will a team be permitted to submit a roster or add name(s) to an existing roster at the tournament site for any reason(s). 

***Failure for the team to submit the entry form, entry fee, SIGNED online roster and a copy of Insurance Certificate by the deadline listed above will result in the team losing their berth and any travel monies won. 

Format: 

Three (3) Game Elimination Bracket 

Manager’s Meeting: (MANDATORY) 

Wednesday, July 26, 2006 – 2 PM at Executive Inn Rivermont.  Limit maximum of two (2) coach/managers at the meeting. 

Check In: 

All Players must check in before playing and will receive a players pass which must be kept with them at all times.  NO Games will be delayed waiting for players to check in. 

Check in is STRONGLY recommended at the Executive Inn starting at NOON on Wednesday, July 26^th, but will also be available at the parks starting at 7:30 AM on Thursday.   

Bring Entire Team, Roster Check with birth certificate or government issue picture ID will be done at this time.  Your State Director must submit rosters to the tournament site.  Roster checks will be conducted prior to team’s first game.  Name will NOT be added to any roster at the tournament site.  Additional roster checks may be conducted at any time during the tournament. 

Coach or Manager must have birth certificate or driver’s license on hand at all times in case of protest.  BPA does NOT need copies of either.

The draw will be posted at www.teamipevents.com at or before 5 PM on July 21^st, 2006.  Please do not call before this time to check your game times. 

Game Times: 

Teams should be at the fields, READY to play, ONE HALF HOUR prior to schedule game time OR  FIVE (5) minutes after previous game has ended.  Coin flip will be done 30 minutes prior to schedule start of game.  Failure to participate in the coin flip will result in loss of flip.  Failure to take the filed at game time will result in forfeit of game.   

Baseball: 

The official BPA Baseball, Worth brand will be provided. 

Bats:   

To be in strict accordance with the BPA rule book.  Rule books are available online 24/7 at www.pllaybpa.com. 

Protest:

There will be a $75.00 CASH ONLY protest fee.  If protest is allowed, the fee will be refunded.  Umpire judgment calls are final.

Conditions:

The tournament committee reserves the right to rule on matter as they occur, including any deemed necessary to complete the tournament.  This includes changing the tournament format, due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, etc.).  The committee assumes that all players are competing at their own risk and will not be liable for accidents or injuries.  Entries into this tournament constitute agreement of these conditions.

Uniforms: 

To be in strict accordance with BPA team dress code. 

Playing rules: 

BPA rules will govern all play in strict accordance with the BPA rule book.  NO METAL CLEATS!!

NOTE:  ANY team found with illegal, ineligible, suspended player(s) or teams that have not met the BPA qualifying procedures may be immediately disqualified and removed from the tournament.  Teams will be removed without refund of their entry fee and without reimbursement for any travel expenses incurred by the team or spectators.  The team, coach, and player(s) will be suspended from BPA. 

Admission: 

$8.00 per day or $25.00 weekend pass

Ages 8-12 $5.00 per day or $10 weekend pass

Players in uniform are free with pass.  Up to 3 coaches passes will be given at the Manager’s meeting or at check in.  Be sure your team knows about the admission charge so there will be no embarrassment at the gate for your team or spectators.  There are no refunds of admission charges for any reason. 

Awards: 

Individual & Team sponsor awards will be given in accordance with BPA rules. 

Souvenirs: 

Numerous souvenirs will be available at the hotel check in and at the park throughout the tournament.  There may be limited number of these items please look early.  Souvenir price will NOT be reduced at or near the end of the tournament. 

Lodging: 

The Owensboro Executive Inn is the host hotel for all tournament events and we strongly suggest staying at this hotel.  Please mention BPA for reduced room rates at 270.926.8000
